  • Reduced Wrinkles
  • Smooth and Youthful Skin

Treatment Overview

Facial peels are completed as an out-patient procedure to rejuvenate your skin and eliminate the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scarring, blemishes, and uneven pigmentation on your face, neck, or hands.

How It Works

We will thoroughly cleanse the skin in the desired area, and then apply a solution to remove the damaged outer layers of your skin. The facial peel is similar to an extremely precise mild sunburn, and the new skin that develops will have the gorgeous, youthful look and feel that our patients choose us for. We also offer milder peels that are left on longer, resulting in brighter and lighter skin with no downtime or redness. Even if you have the most reactive and sensitive skin type, including rosacea, you can tolerate our mild lactic acid peels.

Recovery Time

To prevent damage to your new skin, we recommend that you avoid the sun as much as possible for a few weeks after your treatment. A high quality, high SPF sunscreen with a physical block, like zinc or titanium, can help you keep your new skin looking pristine.

Results

While facial peels are excellent for treating fine lines around the eyes and under the mouth, as well as certain types of acne and age spots, freckles, and dark patches due to pregnancy or birth control pills, it isn’t the best choice for sags, bulges, and more severe wrinkles. We can discuss our effective alternatives in your discrete consultation.

Additional information

To return a youthful luster to your appearance, we recommend one of the oldest cosmetic procedures in the world, the facial peel. When many of us hear the term ‘chemical peel’, we think of bright red and flaky skin. This is not the case with the newer generation of chemical peels. Offering immediate results, today’s facial peels, sometimes called chemo exfoliation or dermal peeling, remove the rough layers of the skin to reduce the fine lines under your eyes and around your mouth. Facial peels are an excellent way to reduce wrinkles caused by sun damage, aging, and hereditary factors. Facial peels allow your dermis to heal itself, so you can enjoy all of the benefits of new smooth and youthful skin. The difference between a spa facial and a medical grade peel is in the strength and quality of products used, and our medical-grade peels provide more noticeable results at a comparable price. In your confidential consultation session, we will determine if a facial peel is the right tool to help you reclaim your youth.
